Glynn Visual Arts’ exhibitions feature outstanding local, regional, national and internationally recognized artists in thought-provoking shows at GVA’s two galleries – in GVA’s visual arts center on Island Drive and in the newly renovated gallery in the Golden Isles Welcome Center in the Pier Village.
Glynn Visual Arts mounts more than 18 different exhibitions at its two facilities, allowing residents and visitors alike to view a wide range of styles and artistic viewpoints in both two and three-dimensional mediums.
Exhibitions, which are free and open to the public, usually run either four or six weeks and include an opening reception where attendees have the opportunity to meet and speak with the artist(s) in an intimate setting while enjoying complimentary wine and cheese.
GVA’s exhibitions are highlights of the arts calendar, often drawing 80 to 100+ to the opening receptions with hundreds more viewing the works throughout their duration.
The works exhibited are usually for sale and provide an attractive opportunity for collectors and businesses to add to their collections.
Seasonal highlights include the Coastal National Competition and exhibit, GVA’s member shows, and collaborations with both the Photographer’s Guild and the Georgia Coastal Artists Guild.
