A MESSAGE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Glynn Visual Arts (GVA) is proud to be the oldest arts organization in the area with almost 400 members. Since 1953, GVA has been your community arts center. We have endured and evolved into a professional arts organization and a staple in the community. This is important to know because in any vibrant community, the art center is the always at the heART.  That has never been more true than with Glynn Visual Arts.

GVA provides St. Simons Island and the broader Golden Isles community with a center for creative expression, a source of art education, and a showcase for art and artists both local and nationally celebrated. Annually we offer over a dozen exhibitions, three major art festivals, a variety of classes for adults and children including kid’s summer camp, a kid’s art fair, and a host of other opportunities for the community to learn about and benefit from art.

GVA’s contributions to the community are clear and I am delighted to be a part of this fantastic arts community. I can’t wait for what’s next in GVA’s artistic evolution!

Peace, Love & Art,

Susan
