Cindi C. Rawlins 

Cindi C. Rawlins has been a resident of St. Simons Island for over two decades. She moved here permanently from Atlanta in 2012 with her husband, Dave Rawlins. They have two married daughters and five grandchildren. Cindi and Dave live in The Island Club.

In Atlanta, she served in various volunteer capacities including President of the Junior Associates, Atlanta Music Club; President, Daughters of the King, St. Martin’s Episcopal Church; leader, Cross Current support group for women at Church of the Apostles; member of the Master Gardner Program for DeKalb County and Board Member, Covenant House Georgia – an outreach to homelss youth. She was a member of The Atlanta Fine Arts League and participated in“Art from the Heart”, painting a portrait for the family of a soldier killed in Iraq.

The focus of her professional life has been in assisting clients achieve results. She served as the Director of Admissions and the College Counselor for Mt. VernonChristian Academy in NW Atlanta. In the 1990’s she was assistant to President John C. Horton, founder of The Leadership Center (now Collier Brown Co.), a leadership development consulting practice, and also, what is now, The Leadership Forum at Georgia Tech, providing advanced executive education services to senior managers.

Since 1996 she served individuals, couples and families in the practice of psychotherapy. She was on staff at Alpha Care Atlanta and The Epiphany Center Atlanta and operated her own private psychotherapy practice.

Pleasurable pursuits include entertaining, traveling and joyfully pursuing painting as a pastime.
