For over 65 years, Glynn Visual Arts (GVA) has been your community arts center.  This is important to know because in any vibrant community, the art center is the always the heART of the community.  That has never been more true than right now with Glynn Visual Arts.

GVA provides St. Simons Island and the broader Golden Isles community with a center for creative expression, a source of art education, and a showcase for art and artists both local and nationally celebrated. Annually we offer over a dozen exhibitions, three (3) major art festivals, a variety of classes for adults and children including kid’s summer camps, and a host of other opportunities for the community to learn about and benefit from art.

Going even deeper, GVA is an important resource for reaching into the greater Golden Isles community to help children who need help the most. Through our collaboration with organizations such as Safe Harbor, which provides social services for at-risk youth and America’s Second Harvest Food Bank through the Handmade for the Hungry project, GVA’s contributions to the community are clear. Our latest initiative with the Community of Hope will bring the healing powers of the arts into one of the most needy communities in Brunswick. And there is much more to tell… more than we can share in this short letter.

GVA is a 501c3 non-profit association supported solely by memberships, sponsorships, grants and our continuing programming. We need your support to continue to provide high quality programming in the way of renowned artist exhibitions and workshops, adult and children's classes as well as community outreach. Glynn Visual Arts is grateful for any level of giving. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions and thank you from the bottom of our heARTs!
