INSTRUCTOR – Debbie Craig

Hand built bowls made in these classes are donated to be sold at the Empty Bowl fundraising event for America's Second Harvest on November 5th. Last year the Empty Bowl Event raised enough money to provide over 9,000 meals for the hungry in Glynn County!

Handmade for the Hungry &
Empty Bowl Project
Outreach for America's Second Harvest Food Bank

November 5, 2019

Celebrating 5 years!

Glynn Visual Arts supports our local food bank, America's Second Harvest, through our pottery program in which we offer classes for students to come in & make a bowl then donate it to the Handmade for the Hungry/Empty Bowl Project.

After the bowls are made and donated, the project culminates with a soup dinner at GVA in which individuals may come in & buy a hand made bowl to take home & receive a soup dinner & all the fixin's. All proceeds for sales of the bowls & dinner are donated to America's Second Harvest. It's fun to make the bowls & fun to come to the dinner & see all the creativity in our community, knowing it's for a great cause!! Join us this year!
